AU10TIX Earns ISO/IEC 27701 Certification, signaling the company’s ongoing commitment to protecting data and furthering a more secure world

As a global leader in digital customer onboarding and remote verification, AU10TIX is responsible for verifying Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from around the world for a variety of online transactions—from credit card applications to money transfers, travel bookings and trades. The current pandemic has created a spike in demand for more and more of these digital PII exchanges, like virtual doctor appointments and virtual learning. At the same time, there’s been a general global awakening around the importance of data privacy. “AU10TIX’s line of business is closely tied to both trends and as the company continues to process and verify more data, we must also add more protection,” explained Moran Shalom Sedbon, Chief Information Security Officer, AU10TIX. “We’ve made significant investments over the last several years to bolster our information security and privacy infrastructure, and the ISO/IEC 27701 Certification is an indicator that the investments were well-made. We look forward to continuing the work we’ve done to earn ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 27001 and to comply with global privacy regulations in order to provide our customers and communities safe services.”

AU10TIX joins tech industry leaders like Microsoft as one of the first companies to earn this new universal certification. The single document replaces lengthy audits in a business’s search for partners that must be trusted with data. Now, risk and security executives can ask if a company is ISO/IEC 27701 certified and confidently know that companies able to say yes, like AU10TIX, are operating at the highest international standard for data privacy.
